His research interests have been focused in the area of state, national, and international policy analysis regarding equity, access, and effectiveness of P-16 education. He consecutively received five research grants from the Center for Rural Pennsylvania, a Legislative Agency of the Pennsylvania General Assembly. As principal investigator of these grants, he has conducted extensive research on state education policy for school improvements, including school facility planning, statewide assessment system, consolidation of school districts, and equal access to the higher education for diverse students. His research program integrates both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and a variety of statistical analysis techniques. December 2012 / ACEF 36
