Downloading Java

If you are experiencing problems with the 'My Computer' Icon not appearing to upload a file from your computer, it may be because you are not clicking 'Run' when prompted in WebCT/Blackboard:

Be sure to click 'Run' when you see this screen. If you are still experiencing problems with the 'My Computer' icon not showing up, you may have more than one Java version installed. Check and see which version of Java you have by following steps 1 through 4 below.

1.Click on "Start", then "Control Panel"

2.Double click on the "Add & Remove Programs " icon

3.Wait for the list to populate and look for Java.

4. If you see more than one version, then you should uninstall all older versions of Java. (And keep the latest version).
