This website was designed for TSU faculty and students who teach or take online classes to use as a supplemental resource to CITDE's homepage: http://online.tarleton.edu.

  • Online faculty can use it to set up an appointment with me, view frequently asked questions, find out what training is offered, and view multimedia capabilities for online classes at TSU.
  • Students can utilize the website to explore Blackboard, Log-in to Blackboard, and to find out if online learning is right for them.
  • The "Links" section of the website can be used as a resource for finding websites dealing with Instructional Technology, Integrating Multimedia, and navigating to the TSU Blackboard log-in page.

What Is Instructional Design?

Instructional Design complements CITDE's mission to provide the highest level of support for all online and blended courses.  As an Instructional Designer and Manager of Online Support, I work closely with faculty at both the program level and the individual course level to help develop effective learning environments, with a special emphasis on the successful integration of instructional technology.

 

 

 

 

 

About The Center

 

CITDE coordinates technology-based distance learning initiatives for TSU, assists faculty in the design, development, and delivery of distance learning courses (online, hybrid & ITV), supports the systematic use of technology in teaching and learning processes, and facilitates educational collaboration with public and private K-12 schools, colleges, universities, businesses, and communities in order to meet the diverse educational needs of Tarleton's current and future learners.
